Duskproof is a residential mosquito and outdoor pest control service. Results vary by property, season, weather, and surrounding conditions, and no treatment eliminates every mosquito. We use EPA-registered products applied according to their labels; per label directions, treated areas should be avoided until dry. Duskproof is not a medical or public health authority, and nothing on this site is medical advice; for questions about mosquito-borne illness, contact your physician or local health department. Applications are performed by licensed technicians in accordance with state pesticide regulations. Educational content on this site is provided for general information and is not a substitute for the product label, which is the controlling legal document for any pesticide.
Results vary, honestly
Mosquito pressure depends on your property, your neighbors, the weather, the season, and the species in your area. Treatment meaningfully reduces mosquitoes in the treated area for a period of time; it does not create a force field, and no honest provider will tell you otherwise. Our guarantee is specific and real: if mosquitoes come back between scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat free. It is a promise of service, not a promise of zero mosquitoes.
The product label is the law
Every product we discuss or use is governed by its EPA-registered label, which specifies where it may be applied, at what rates, and with what precautions, including re-entry guidance such as keeping people and pets off treated areas until dry. Nothing on this site overrides a label. If anything we write ever appears to conflict with a label, the label wins, and we would want to know about it so we can fix the page.
Not medical or public health advice
We are a pest control service. Content about mosquito-borne illness is general background, not medical advice, and we are not a substitute for your physician or your local health department. If you have a health concern related to mosquito or tick bites, contact a medical professional.
Regional differences
Species, season length, and rules differ by state and region. Where our articles describe timing or practices, we describe what is typical and say so, and we point you to your local university extension service or health department for region-specific guidance. For pesticide questions in your state, your state pesticide regulator is the authority.
Our service commitments
Duskproof applications are performed by licensed technicians in accordance with state pesticide regulations, using EPA-registered products applied per label. Those are standing commitments about how we operate, stated plainly because we are a new service without years of history to point to yet. What we will never do is dress up that newness with invented reviews or credentials; see our editorial standards for the full honesty policy.
